This is the shallow end at 1m depth. There is a blue line to mark where the shallow end ends and the gentle slope begins to the deep end.

This is the shallow area. It slopes fom just a few cm depth to the shallow end of 1m, perfect for toddlers and young children to paddle in - even our baby can sit up in the shallow end..

This is the deep end, 2m in the centre with a slope around the side.

Chris visits the pool each morning to ensure it is kept perfectly clean. The self clean system comes on regularly throughout the day as well. It is has underwater flood lighting and may be used at any time of day or night, however in the evenings and night time noise levels must be kept to an absolute minimum to ensure the comfort of other guests and neighbours alike. The jacuzzi will be in operation during the day only.

The pool is completely enclosed by a wall of min height 1.6 m. It has a self closing gate with child safety latch and an alarm for extra security which conforms to the current French pool safety regulations.

Le Cassioppee and Le Cygne both have a superb view of the pool from the bedroom windows. These cottages would be ideal for families with older children / teens who are able to swim on their own ,  you can still keep an eye on them but can sit back and relax outside your cottage. They are also closer to the games room.

There are plenty of sunbeds but please note that the terrace area is limited and if all the families from all 5 cottages decide to use the pool at the same time, it will be crowded. From our experience, this may only happen once or twice during your stay and most of the time there is usually only one or two families in and using the pool area at any one time. Of course it is also common that you get the whole pool to yourself  as well.
