Le CYGNE gite

Le Cygne and Le Cassiopee are next to each other facing the pool. These two cottages would suit two families holidaying together but who want there own space. They will also suit families with older children as its right next to the pool. As with Le Cassiopee the thick stone walls create a cool interior too.

Le Cygne has a large spacious open plan lounge / dining area with sofas and seating appropriate to a family of six. There is a cool tiled floor. The Kitchen area is raised. It is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge / freezer, gas oven with grill and 4 ring hob, microwave and all crockery and cutlery.

A steep open slatted wooden staircase leads from the kitchen to the first floor. There are three bedrooms, a double with king sized bed, fitted wardrobe and draws; and two twin rooms each with a wardrobe. Both twin rooms have very low windows, one is at floor level, but these are fitted with child locks to prevent them being opened too wide .

A few more steps lead you up to the spacious modern bathroom equipped with bath with shower, basin and low flush toilet. Lots of hot water and good water pressure.

Outside is a gravelled terrace  with its own garden table, chairs, large parasol and barbecue. The cottages look out at the pool, but the pool is surrounded by a metre high wall plus 1m80 fence panels and a gate with safety latch, thus preventing young children from entering the pool area alone. It is also fitted with an alarme for extra security

We have recently fitted (hence not shown in the photo) wooden fence panels along the pool wall and a fence panel between the two gites to create a little more privacy for these two cottages . However there is still plenty of space for two families who are together, to sit outside together and eat if they so wish. Le Cygne cottage  is perfect for a gregarious family who enjoy chatting since other guests pass by to get to the pool area.
